HEEEEEEYYYYYOOOOO!!!
Hey everyone hope you had a good week. So glad I get to talk to you again and hear about all the amazing things you are doing. My week was pretty good. We had another amazing event happen this week but we will get to that later in the email. So without any further delay let us jump right on into this thang!!!
First of all transfer news, nothing is happening! Elder Larson and I are going to be staying together here in Cambridge! This is also going to be my last transfer in the mission. That is so crazy to think about. Time has definitely just flown by. I have learned a lot out here and have met some really amazing people that have changed me for the better. So this last transfer is going to be an epic one!
Most of the week was spent just doing the regular missionary grind. We spent a lot of time dropping by to visit people and walking around talking to people.
We had exchanges this week and Elder Whatcott came here to Cambridge with me. He is a good guy. He actually started his mission in Turkey but do to some complications he got sent here to Canada to continue serving his mission. We did some service at the food bank in the morning, nothing really too exciting there. Just sorted through clothes and put them in their proper containers.👚 Oh I guess something funny was that I was wearing a Bob Ross shirt when I went there and some of the ladies there really loved it. I was getting compliments on it the whole time we were there. 😂 After that the rest of our day was filled with teaching appointments that we had with people. Those all went really well, we have some really awesome people that we are working with here.
Friday we had District Meeting in the morning and it was the last one of the transfer. We talked about how to improve our teaching skills. It was a good meeting. I really enjoyed everyone that was in the District this transfer, they were all amazing to work with. After that we went and did some yard work for a lady who was in the hospital and then we got things all squared away for the baptism that we were having the next day!
Which brings us to Saturday for Carlee's baptism!! We had a small little service next to the pond she wanted to be baptized in. It was absolutely amazing to be able to see her make this step in her life. She is so freaking great. I am so excited to see how she is going to progress in the gospel. After the baptism we did some service over in a community garden and then grabbed some dinner and had a couple of appointments for the evening.
Sunday was great, Carlee got confirmed a member of the church. The ward here is getting a superstar added to their roster. 🌟The rest of church was pretty good. We had some good lessons and it was good to be able to talk to everyone. After church we had a couple of appointments and did our studies. We also watched the face to face with Elder Cook that night. I really enjoyed that, I would highly recommend watching it if you haven't yet.
Well that's all I got for this week. Hope everyone has a good rest of their week!
Love and miss you all!
