LOOK OUT WORLD!! I AM
COMING FOR YA!!
Hey everyone!! So glad I get to talk to you again and hear about all the amazing things you are doing. I hope everyone had a good week and that it was filled with joyous moments. My week was pretty good. Now that I am here in the Cambridge area I have a lot of catching up to do but I am looking forward to the challenge!! But anyways, without any further delay let us jump right on into this thang!!
Monday last week was crazy hectic, it involved a lot of packing and saying good bye to the people in Sudbury. It was definitely hard to say farewell. I have been able to make really good relationships with the people up there. But I will always remember the effect they had on me and I will definitely never forget them. I also played one last game of basketball with the boys before I took off as well. I am going to miss playing basketball with them, always a blast.🏀
Tuesday, we woke up at 4 in the morning so we could leave by 5 and get to Brampton by 9. It was a long drive in the morning but we made it there safe and sound. We got to Brampton and I said goodbye to a couple of the missionaries that were going home and then talked to some others that were there. Then I picked up the missionary I was traveling with and we made our way to Cambridge. We had a pretty funny experience on the way. We stopped at Jollibee to grab some lunch and when we were leaving the missionary I was with looked at me and said "the manager here thinks you're hot." My first reaction was, well of course I am, 😉but I asked him how he knew that. He told me that the cashier told him after the manager told her. So bottom line to the story, I'm not as ugly as I thought. 😂 Anyways, we got to Cambridge and I met my new companion Elder Larson. He is from Mesa, Arizona and he has been out for about 13 months now. We have served around each other before so it is pretty cool that we get to serve with each other now. We both came into the Cambridge area at the same time because we are replacing the sister missionaries that were here. So we both don't really know what is going on but we are just going with the flow at this point.
The rest of the week was just trying to contact people to see if we could meet with them and as well figure out what is going on in the area. Funny experience that happened yesterday was that we were out walking around and all the sudden it started pouring rain on us!!🌧☔ Needless to say we got soaked but it was a funny experience nonetheless. Oh, I guess to tell you about the area I am in, Cambridge is actually an area made up of three different areas. Preston, Hespeler and the Galt. We live in the basement of a member’s home so that is pretty dope. They are an old German couple and they are super nice so we try to help out any way we can. From what I can tell so far this seems like a good place to be and I am looking forward to it! 😊
That's all I got for this week, hope you all have a good rest of your week!
Love and miss you all!!
