NEXT CHAPTER, TO THE ICE CASTLE!!!!!

HEEEEELLLLLLOOOOOO!!!!

Hope everyone had a good week. I am going to apologize in advance but this email is going to be pretty short because I’ve got a lot of stuff going on today because I am getting transferred to Sudbury!! Sudbury is like 6 hours North of where I am at right now so I am finally going to the true north. It's kind of sad that I only got to spend 6 weeks here in Toronto but I have always wanted to go way north and now I am getting the opportunity! It is super sad as well that I am leaving Elder Hapuku. He and I were having a blast together but I am sure we will cross paths again someday. But as you can imagine I have a lot of packing and prepping to do before tomorrow morning when I leave. So this email is just going to be a quick summary of the week and here we go!

The week was pretty good overall. I met some really cool people and went to some really awesome places. The English Classes this week were amazing as always, having way too much fun in those classes. I think my favorite moment this week is when I showed Elder Hapuku how to Karate Chop an apple in half 😂 He told me he had never seen it before and didn't really believe I could do it. His reaction when I did do it was the funniest thing ever! Luckily we got it on video. 🍎🍏

But yeah I got to get things all ready for tomorrow morning but will talk to you all next week in the great white north!!

Have a good rest of your week!

Love and miss you all!!!

TIME IS FLYING BY!!!!!

HEEEEELLLLLLLOOOOOO!!!!

I hope everyone had a good week and that you got something you are looking forward to today! My week was pretty good, nothing too crazy happening here but fun nonetheless.

Today actually marks the day that I have been out for 17 months now!! It is so crazy to me that it has been that long already!! I can definitely say that I have been having a blast out here. But without further ado let us jump right on into this thing!

Last week on Monday we got together with a ton of different missionaries and played a big ole game of dodgeball. It was a lot of fun and I love playing dodgeball! After that we grabbed something to eat and headed back home.

Tuesday we did a lot of walking around and talking to people on the streets and buses. We dropped by a couple of people but they weren't home. That night we taught English class and that was super fun as always.

Wednesday we had District Meeting in the morning and that was pretty good. After that we went and grabbed some Chipotle because ya boi was starving! After that to be honest I really can't remember what happened. 😂

Thursday we spent a lot of time walking around Downtown talking to people. We were able to talk to some pretty interesting people. Then we came back, grabbed some dinner, and went to the bible study that was going on that night. 🕮

Friday I was on exchanges with Elder Hansen, he is super awesome and hilarious! We came up with an idea to go and conduct a survey about family history. So we went around and asked people if they knew the names of their great grandparents. Surprisingly only 4 people actually knew the names of their great grandparents! So make sure and do your research in case someone asks ya. 😉😂

Saturday we had English Class in the morning and I don't know why but I was so dang tired
that day! 😴 It was definitely a struggle to try and be energetic. But it was a good time all around. After that we tried dropping by a couple of people, but they weren't home. Then we did some weekly planning because we hadn’t had the chance to start yet.

Sunday was good. It is always great to see the people in the ward here. They are all so welcoming and friendly. After church we went and gave a couple of blessings to some people who were sick. Then we had a super good dinner at a members place that night.

That's all I got for this week! Hope you all have a good rest of your week and lots of awesome experiences.

Love and miss you all!!!

WAAAAAAAASSSSSSS UPPPPPP!!!!!!???

Hey everyone so glad I get to talk to all of you again and hear about all the amazing things you are doing. This week was pretty good, nothing too crazy happened but a good week nonetheless. But without further delay let's jump right on into this mess!!

Monday last week was pretty crazy. We were asked to drive a missionary to the mission home because he was going home. So we had to borrow a car from another set of missionaries and then go get him and his companion. When we got him to the mission home they invited us for dinner, so we had dinner with President and Sister Shields. After that we had to take the missionary's companion back home to grab a couple of things so he could spend the night with some other missionaries. Pretty much a day full of driving but I ain't complaining because I got to drive!! 🚗

Tuesday we had an appointment in the morning with someone but they didn't show up. After that we went walking around talking to people in the Downtown area. We did that until our dinner appointment that night. The food was super delicious, Coconut Chicken Curry, mmm so good! After that we had to rush over to the church so we could teach English class.

Wednesday was good; we had Zone Conference all day. It is always so awesome to see other missionaries and to get to talk to them. The conference was good and they fed us some really good chili as well so it was a win win.

Thursday we had lunch with a friend of mine from St Thomas. It was good to see him and get to talk to him for a bit. After that we did Weekly Planning until a dinner appointment that we had. While we were walking over there we saw a movie filming going on. It was for some movie named "Polar" so keep your eyes peeled for it. 🎥

Friday we were on exchanges so I was with Elder Cornejo. We went around talking to people on the street and visiting some of the people they know. We were walking around and there is this huge place called The Castloma and there was just a ton of people there. So being the curious teen that I am I asked a security guard what was going on. He said that there was a party going on inside! I asked him if I could join but sadly he said no. Depressing.😞 That night we exchanged back and played sports with them and some people from their congregation.

Saturday nothing too crazy happened. We went around talking to people a lot until we had a dinner appointment that night. He made some really good food and he is so freaking funny. He is from East India and has been in Canada for about 3 years. After that we had to hustle home.

Sunday was good other than the fact that I lost an hour of sleep, 😴but that's beside the point. We had church in the morning and it was a girl’s farewell because she is leaving to go on her mission on Tuesday to Peru! It was awesome to hear her speak. The classes were good as well. After church they had a potluck for her going away party and let me tell you something, people from the Philippines make some really good food! After that we went and visited someone and gave them a blessing. Then we went home teaching with a guy who got baptized about 3 months ago. That was good to be a part of with him. Then we went and had dinner and had a meeting right after it.

Well that's all I got for this week! I hope you all have a good rest of your week and lots of awesome experiences to come!

Love and miss you all!!!

SALUTATIONS TO ALL OF YOU!!!

So glad that I get to talk to all of you again this week! I hope you all had a good week and that you were able to get a lot done. My week was pretty good, just continuing to live the busy big city life. But let's just jump right on into this thing!

Monday was pretty fun. We went and played some sports with all the other missionaries. Played some kill ball and ya boi ended up being victorious! I freaking love Kill Ball so much, it's just so intense and crazy. Kind of like me. 😁

Tuesday was a pretty good day. We decided that we were going to walk to this place called Kensington Market. It was about a two hour walk to get there so a little bit of a trip but I really enjoyed it because I got to see more of the city. Kensington Market was pretty cool too. It is a place that just has a bunch of different shops that you wouldn't be able to find anywhere else. After that we had dinner at the Bishop's place. The meal was delicious and then we had to hustle over to the church because we were teaching English that night which is always a blast!

Wednesday was a pretty, well I guess "normal" day. (As normal as you can get here in Toronto) We had lunch with a member and she made us tacos. Super awesome, because it's been a bit since the last time I had a taco. 🌮 After that we walked around Downtown until we had an appointment with a guy at our chapel. We met with him and he is super awesome, says he always feels good when he is with us or in the church building. He wants to be baptized in the future which is sick! After that we had some dinner and walked around some more.

Thursday was good. We had District Meeting in the morning. That was good and then after that we went back to our apartment and did some studies as well as weekly planning. We had dinner with a member that night, which was pretty sweet. He is just like a young bachelor so we had some frozen pizza and ice cream, kind of reminded me of home. 😂 After that we went over to the church for a Bible Study that night.

Friday was crazy. In the morning we volunteered at Pals Pantry doing the usual stuff like washing dishes and giving people food. But after that they were having a memorial for someone who had passed on and they asked us to help set up and run the thing. So we said sure we could help. We ended up making coffee and tea for like 100 people and having to wash all the dishes and do clean up afterwards. Kind of felt like a waiter that day but it was good and the people really appreciated it. After that we came back home and had some dinner. Then we did some studies for the rest of the night.

Saturday was a good day as well. We had English Class in the morning and it was the biggest one yet. There were around 40 people there! Absolutely crazy but tons of fun. After that we caught a ride with some other missionaries over to the Stake Center and had some lunch with them. Then we traveled over to a members place because they wanted us to bless their home. It was also a party for their daughter who was about to leave to go on her mission to Peru. There was a ton of food there!!!! It was absolutely crazy the amount of food but it was all super delicious! After that we came back home and did our studies for the evening.

Sunday we had church in the morning and once again so many people were there! We filled up every seat in the chapel that day, it was absolutely insane. After church we came back and did some studies and spent the rest of the night walking around town talking to people.

Well that's all I got for this week! Hope you all have a good rest of your week with lots of fun and excitement involved in it!

Love and Miss you all!!!
