BLADE KING!!!!!!

I DON'T HAVE A LOT OF TIME!!!

But I will still wanted to say hello and ask all of you how you are doing. Hope your week was good and full of lots of things to do. My week was pretty good, nothing crazy just a normal week.

Most of this week was a lot of dropping by and visiting people. To be honest this week was pretty slow with things to do. We haven't been able to get appointments with a lot of the people that we have been teaching and we haven't had much success finding anyone new. But we are still going out and giving it our all.

Something weird that I have started doing is origami for some reason. 😂 A member here got me a book with a ton of different origami stuff so I have been ripping away at that. I don't know why but I just find myself being into different things often. Maybe it is my chosen calling. 😂

We did a couple of moves this week, those are always pretty interesting. Both of them went pretty smooth and quick which I am sure the people were grateful for.

My basketball skills have definitely been getting better since I play twice a week now. There is a guy we play with that is always complimenting me on my cuts that I do to the basket, so I got that going for me I guess 😂

We found a pair of roller blades the other day, so I decided to bust out my blading skills and tear it up on the streets. I am sure I was probably getting some weird looks but oh well.

But anyways I gotta get going now but I love and miss you all!!

Stay beautiful!!!

I AM AN ASTRONAUT!!!!!

HEEEELLLLLOOOOOO!!!!

So to apologize in advance, I don't have a lot of time today so this email will be a little shorter. But how are y'all doing?? I hope everyone had a good week and that you were able to accomplish some amazing things!

To summarize the week, it went pretty well. We went to this place called Science North last week and it was a freaking blast! There was a bunch of bugs and animals and different science things that you could do.

I also went on exchanges with Elder Lamoreaux, he is an awesome guy. He has only been in the mission for a couple of months but he is super solid. We had a good time together, though we had a pretty freaky run in with a guy who claimed to be Jesus Christ reincarnated and he acted like he wanted to fight us. So yeah that was pretty weird.

District Meeting this week was sweet, everyone was able to come here for the meeting instead of just having it over Skype. We all went and got DQ blizzards afterwards so I was pretty excited.

For church on Sunday we went out to Manitoulin Island. They have a little branch out there so we like to go as often as we can to visit the people out there. The building was pretty sick! It was just like an old store that no one was using anymore. The members there are pretty awesome as well. We had a potluck afterwards and somebody made the best dang macaroni salad I have ever had in my life! Other than that the rest of the week consisted of walking the streets, visiting people, and knocking on some doors.

But yeah that's all I got for this week! Hope you all have a good rest of your week and plenty of more adventures to come!

Love and miss you all!!

WALKING IN A WINTER WONDERLAND!!!

HEEEEEEEYYYYYOOOOOO!!!!

Hope you all had a good week and that you were able to have some fun. So glad I get to talk to all of you again and hear how your week has been. My week was pretty good, Elder Rigby and I are planning some big things here in Sudbury so hopefully we can get them rolling. But without any more delay let us jump right on into this thang!!!

Monday was a pretty regular day, we did some emailing and played some ball. After that we drove out to Manitoulin Island to go visit a couple of people. It takes about 3 hours to get out there so that took up most of our day.

Tuesday was a pretty normal day. We basically just went out dropping by people and knocked on some doors. Nothing too crazy happened there.

Wednesday we did some more drop bys and some weekly planning. We also had Ward Council that night and we played jeopardy with the youth. Of course I annihilated everyone because I gots all the knowledge. It was pretty funny. There were categories on human anatomy and Canadian inventions, but there was also one on Pokemon. Nobody expected ya boi to be the freaking Pokemon master that I am so there was no competition.

Thursday we did some more weekly planning and more drop bys. I can't really remember what happened on Thursday to be honest 😂😂.

Friday we had District Meeting in the morning. That went pretty well. We talked about how we can become better teachers and better help people with the struggles they have. After that we went and grabbed some lunch at Arby's (my favorite place in the world.) Then we went and visited some more people and went and played sports that night at the church.

Saturday was super busy, we had appointment after appointment. We didn't eat anything until 9:30 that night! It was crazy but it was pretty sick to go and see everyone and get to know them a little more.

Sunday was good but a freaking crazy storm has been brewing here!! Just snow and freezing rain all day so it was kind of sketchy to drive around in. Church was good, I was asked to teach the youth class and that went pretty well. Elder Rigby and I are going to try and start an English class up here like I was doing back in Toronto. I am hoping it goes well because that would be freaking awesome!

Well that's all I got for this week, hope you all have a good rest of your week!!

Love and miss you all!!

ON THE ROAD AGAIN!!!!

HEEEEEEYYYYYYY!!!!

Hope everyone has had a good week and plenty adventures involved with it! My week seemed to fly by but probably because I spent half of it in a car! But without further delay let us jump right on into this thing!

Monday was pretty fun, we played basketball with a bunch of other elders. After that we went grocery shopping at Costco.  🛒 It has been a fat minute since I have been in a Costco so it was definitely worth it. I don't know why but it seems like every time I go into an establishment people automatically think that I work there for some reason. 😂 I was asked at least 5 times if I worked in the meat department while we were there. But anyways after shopping and the rest of the others went back home, we went over to the church and played more basketball for sports night. 🏀 That was sweet! It was just us and people from around town. It was super cool to get to know some of the people.

Tuesday was just a regular missionary day. We went and visited some people to see how they were doing as well as going around and knocking on some doors. Nothing too special.

Wednesday is where things start getting crazy. So on Wednesday we were supposed to be at the temple in Brampton at 6:45. We thought easy enough we will just leave at noon and that will give us plenty of time to get down there. BUT WE WERE DEAD WRONG! A massive snow storm came through the area and caused the highway to be shut down until they could reopen it. ❅❅❅ So what was supposed to be about a 4 1/2 hour drive turned into 9 hours!!! Needless to say we didn't make it to the temple that day. We just went to the place where we were going to spend the night and called it a day.

On Thursday we had to get up and go to a conference that started at 8:45 in the morning. The conference was really good, I got to see a lot of my past buddies and catch up with them a little bit. The conference lasted till around 4:30 and after that we went to the temple and spent a little time there. Then we had to drive to another place we were going to spend the night at.

Friday we got up and made the trek back to Sudbury. Luckily there were no issues with the trip so we were able to get there in a timely manner. After we got back we did some studies and ate some dinner then went to the church for another sports night. Just had to release all that energy.

Saturday was good. We got up in the morning and played some basketball. After that we went and helped somebody move. The move didn't take too long and nothing extremely heavy. After that we came back and showered and ate some lunch. Then we went out and visited some people and then Elder Rigby and I prepared the talks that we had to give the next day.

Sunday was pretty awesome, Elder Rigby and I gave our talks and everyone said that they really enjoyed it. I was able to meet a lot of the members there and be able to introduce myself so that was good. After that we came back and did some studies and then drove out to go have dinner and the family had 2 golden retrievers who love to play. 🐕🐕 I pretty much died and went to heaven!

Well that's all I got for this week. I hope you all have a good rest of your week!!

Love and miss you all!

WELCOME TO THE NORTH!!!!!

HEEEEEYYYYY!!!!

So glad I get to talk to all of you again this week and hear about all the amazing things you are doing! My week was pretty good, super hectic but really good. But without further ado let us jump right on into this thing!!

Monday after I got done packing we went and played some sports with all the missionaries that are here in Toronto. That was super fun but sad to say good bye to all the people there.

Tuesday was a day dedicated to traveling all the way up to Sudbury. It was pretty freaking sweet because my travel buddy was my past companion Elder Olsen! We made a quick stop in Midland on the way up and visited a couple of people there since there are no longer any missionaries in that area. We got to Sudbury at around 7:30 at night and we were exhausted at that point.

Wednesday was the day we took to get me introduced into the area and who the people are. My new comp is Elder Rigby and from what I can tell he is a super solid guy and really funny as well so I am looking forward to the upcoming 6 weeks.

Thursday we went around and met a few more people in the area here. We also did some weekly planning so we could get a more solid idea of what we are going to do for the week.

Friday we had lunch with a member who is super freaking dope! That night was sports night so that was pretty sweet to be able to break out my basketball skills again.

Saturday was just General Conference pretty much. It was awesome to be able to tune in and watch it and listen to the things they had to tell us. We had a chili dinner with the members at the church building that night, it was super delicious. The people here that I have met so far are pretty cool and I am looking forward to the upcoming weeks to meet more of them.

Sunday was more General Conference. In between sessions and afterwards we went and visited people to see how they were doing and to tell them about General Conference.

Now finally I need to dedicate a different part of this email to express my thanks for the amazing house that I am staying in! This place is freaking HUGE!!! It is 3 floors and we have 2 bathrooms and a full size kitchen in this place. We also have a washer and dryer as well as a dishwasher!! So pretty much I am living the most spoiled life out of any missionary right now.

But that is all I got for this week. I hope you all have a good rest of your week and lots of adventures to come!!!

Love and miss you!!
