MY TIME IS UP!!!!!!!

HEELLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOO

Great to be able to talk to all of y'all again!! I hope this week has been good for you and that you have taken the time to stop and smell the roses. Well I don't have a lot of time today but we will get to that later in the email.  So let us jump right down into it!!

Most of the week was just a regular week, taught some lessons and had some awesome dinner appointments. On Saturday I had the awesome opportunity to attend the temple with the ward and my two new converts!!! It was super amazing and an awesome experience. I love going to the temple and just basking in the beauty of everything. Everyone had such a great time and they are looking forward to the next time they will be able to go again.

Also on Saturday it was a member's birthday party!!! And you already know that if there is a party I will definitely be attending!! It was super fun with lots of people I hadn't met before and a bonfire. It was a rootin’ tootin’ good time and I had an amazing time.

On Sunday the members here threw me a party to celebrate me being here for so long. One of the members went out and bought like 50 pieces of chicken from KFC!! Let’s just say I was in heaven. I don't think I have ever eaten so much chicken in my life!! I appreciate them all so much and the continual love and support that they show me.

Finally, the reason behind the title of this email, I am being transferred to St. Thomas!!! I am super excited to experience a new place and meet new people but I am also a little sad because I am leaving a bunch of really amazing people who helped me out a lot. But I know that the next missionary that comes in will bless their lives even more than I ever could.

That's all I got for this week. I love and miss you all so much and can't wait to get to talk to you again!!

HAWAIIAN THURSDAY!!!!!

Hey Everyone!!!

Sorry I don't have a whole lot of time to email today so I will just make this quick.

This week was pretty normal, just some normal missionary stuff. On Thursday we went to a place called Value Village and bought Hawaiian shirts. Why did we do this you ask, well I am still asking that same question myself. But I am just going to roll with it. (Though I do think I look pretty good in a Hawaiian shirt!!! ☺ )

On Saturday Joan was baptized!! It was such an amazing thing to witness and I am glad I got to be a part of it. I even had the opportunity to speak after she was baptized. I talked about the Holy Spirit and how it can help guide our lives as long as we let him in and do it for us. I am so proud of her decision to get baptized and I know that it will bless her life immensely.

That is all I got for this week I hope you have a good rest of the week and that you all had a great Easter yesterday!! I love and miss you all!!

FLU VIRUS!!!!!!!

HEY EVERYONE!!!!

Sorry if this email is a little short but I have caught a flu virus and I am not feeling too well at the moment but I do have some sweet pics for you guys to make up for it.

On Monday last week we went up to Tobermory and hiked along the coast next to the lake and it was super beautiful. I even drank out of the lake up there because the water is super clean and drinkable. It was a good thing to experience and I wish I had more time to go back and hike it again.

The rest of the week was just a pretty regular week nothing too exciting.

On Saturday this week we have a lady named Joan getting baptized! I am super excited for her and I know how much this is truly going to bless her life.

I love you all so much and wish the best of luck to you this coming week.

Here is a little history on the area that we hiked :
This shoreline marks the northern extremity of the Niagara Escarpment in southern Ontario. Stretching unbroken for 465 miles across southern Ontario from Niagara Falls. The escarpment was created by erosion of layered sedimentary rocks deposited in ancient seas of the Paleozoic Era over 400 million years ago. Portions of the escarpment form the islands between Tobermory and South Baymouth and the same Paleozolic rocks shape the geology of Manitoulin Island. The rock of the escarpment is very old. Approximately 400 million years ago, this area was covered by a shallow tropical sea teeming with life in the form of plant-like animals, crustaceans, living corals and mollusks. It would have looked much like the present-day Great Barrier Reef of Australia. When the sea began to dry up, the minerals dissolved in it became more and more concentrated. Magnesium in the water was absorbed into the limestone, which then became a softer, slightly different sort of rock, called dolomite. Where erosion has cut more deeply, caves have been formed, such as the famed "Grotto" on the shore between the Marr Lake and Georgian Bay Trails. Great blocks of dolomite, undercut by wave action, have tumbled from the cliffs above and can be clearly seen below the surface of the deep, clean waters of Georgian Bay.

SHORT ON TIME !!

HEEEEEEYYYY GUUUUUUYYYYYS!!!

Okay so I want to start off by saying that I don't have a lot of time to email this week so sorry if this email is a little short. But anyways how are you all doing!? Just seems like it has been a week since I last talked to you. ☺  Freaking crazy!  but anyways let us jump right into it!!

Not a whole lot of exciting things happened this week. On Tuesday we went to Wiarton to do a little tracting and contacting. We didn't find anybody but we did see some pretty interesting things like the Wiarton Willie!!! The Wiarton Willie is the groundhog that they have up there for Groundhogs Day. It is a pretty big event and a lot of people come up to see it. But sadly we missed it because we didn't realize it was up there until just this past week. But we live and we learn, just got to keep our eyes open for things!!

On Wednesday we went down to Brampton for Zone Conference. It was pretty good. I was surrounded by a bunch of missionaries and I got to see some familiar faces that I haven't seen in a little while. The instructions that were given were really good. They gave me a lot of insight on how I can be better and what I can do to make things happen.

On Friday we went down to Brampton again for a temple trip!!!! It was super fun and exciting. I always learn something new every time I go in there. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to go and be able to attend the temple. Every missionary within a two hour radius was allowed to go to the temple. I am 2 hours away so I barely made the cut!! I am so grateful that I have a temple in this mission and that I am able to go and feel of the great spirit that is there.

Finally, it was General Conference this weekend!!! It was so good to hear from the leaders of the church and to hear their inspired messages. We actually had one of our investigators come and watch it. She said she really enjoyed it and got a lot out of it! My favorite thing said was President Monson's message to simply just read the Book of Mormon. I know that doing that simple act can bring a lot of clarity into our lives and we can feel at peace by reading it and applying it into our lives.

Well that is all I got for this week. I hope you have a good rest of your week and make the most out of everything you come across. I love and miss you all.
